Missouri State men’s golf in fourth entering final round at home tournament

Senior Christian Rischer is tied for second place after the first two rounds of the Missouri State Intercollegiate at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club in Ozark, Missouri. Rischer recorded scores of 70 and 68 for a total of four-under-par 138, trailing leader Francisco Gavilian of Lindenwood by four shots. The final round is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

Missouri State University's men's golf team is currently fourth in the team standings with a combined score of 577, twelve strokes behind leader Lindenwood (565). Bradley University holds second place at 567, while Northern Iowa (UNI) is third with 573. Other teams competing include Arkansas-Pine Bluff (591), Evangel (595), Tennessee State (596), and Evangel "B" (615).

Among other Missouri State players, senior Tim Holmberg stands in 12th place overall after posting rounds of 70 and 74 for a total score of 144. Sophomore Andrew Fallis shot rounds of 74 and 73 to tie for 16th at 147. Junior Owen Swearingen is tied for 27th after scoring 77 and 73 for a total of 150, while freshman Noah Naugle sits in 31st place with scores of 75 and 77 totaling to 152.

Freshman Pedro Gallegos led three Bears playing as individuals with scores of 75 and 72 for a total of 147. Max Bowman posted rounds of 74 and 75 for a total score of 149, while Jonathan Jordan finished the day with scores of 77 and 76 totaling to153.
