Citizens Memorial Hospital is set to open its new CMH Dialysis Center in Bolivar, Missouri, with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for December 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will take place at 1160 W. Parkview St., with the ribbon cutting beginning at 1 p.m.
Community members are invited to attend the event, tour the facility, meet staff, and learn about kidney care services offered by both the CMH Dialysis Center and the CMH Nephrology Clinic. Light refreshments will be available.
The new center is equipped with advanced dialysis technology and offers a comfortable treatment environment. It includes 16 hemodialysis chairs with window views, patient rooms for home peritoneal and hemodialysis education, a waiting area, and specialized support spaces.
Beginning in January 2026, the facility will also house the CMH Nephrology Clinic. The clinic is led by Dr. Russell Davis, a board-certified nephrologist who oversees diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of chronic kidney conditions. Both the dialysis center and nephrology clinic aim to provide coordinated care in one location.
Dr. Davis stated: “Our goal is to provide patients with the highest quality kidney care in an environment that promotes comfort, dignity and trust. This new facility allows us to combine advanced technology with compassionate care, giving patients the support they need to manage their kidney health effectively.”
Michael Calhoun, CEO/executive director of Citizens Memorial Hospital and Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation said: “The CMH Dialysis Center represents another important step in our mission to expand access to specialized care for the communities we serve. We’re proud to offer this modern, patient-focused facility that will make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals living with kidney disease.”
