Missouri State men's soccer earns multiple postseason honors from American Athletic Conference

Missouri State University's men's soccer team has received several postseason honors from the American Athletic Conference. Junior Alex Matthews was named to the First Team, while senior Harry Jolley earned a spot on the Second Team. Freshmen Harry Hogben and Bruno Cellerino were both selected for the All-Freshman Team. The team also received the Team Fair Play Award for sportsmanship during their inaugural season in the conference.

Matthews played every minute of all 15 games this season, totaling 1,350 minutes and contributing one assist. His consistent presence in midfield and defense helped secure the team's backline.

Jolley anchored the defense as well, playing 1,287 minutes across all 15 games. He scored one goal and provided one assist during the season.

Hogben's performance included earning two consecutive American Freshman of the Week awards. He appeared in 14 games, starting 13, and logged 1,025 minutes focused on defensive duties.

Cellerino played in 14 games with eight starts and accumulated 677 minutes of playtime, contributing to crucial defensive efforts.

The Bears were recognized collectively with the Team Fair Play Award for their sportsmanship throughout their first year competing in the American Athletic Conference.
