Missouri State University men's soccer player Harry Hogben has been named the American Conference Freshman of the Week for a second consecutive week, according to an announcement from the league on Monday.

Hogben earned this recognition after playing key defensive roles in the Bears' recent matches. He started and played most minutes in both games, helping Missouri State secure a 2-2 draw against Charlotte and a scoreless tie with Tulsa.

Senior Daniele Verdirosi was given an honorable mention for his successful penalty kick that contributed to the draw with Charlotte. Junior Alex Matthews also received an honorable mention for his contributions in midfield and defense during both matches.

The Bears are scheduled to compete as the No. 5 seed in the upcoming 2025 American Conference Men's Soccer Championship Tournament. They will face No. 4 seed FIU on Friday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.

"Harry Hogben has been named the American Conference Freshman of the Week for the second straight week," stated the league announcement.
