The Missouri State University men's golf team is set to host the 10th annual Missouri State Intercollegiate at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club in Ozark, Missouri. The tournament will take place on Monday and Tuesday, October 27-28, with a scheduled shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. each day. Participating teams include Bradley, Northern Iowa, Lindenwood, Evangel, Tennessee State, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

The event will consist of 54 holes played on a par-71 course measuring 6,702 yards. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and complete the final round of 18 holes on Tuesday.

Missouri State's lineup features senior Tim Holmberg—last year's defending medalist who tied the tournament record with rounds of 66-67-73 for a total score of seven-under-par (206) at Twin Oaks Country Club in March—and fellow senior Christian Rischer. Other team members competing are junior Owen Swearingen, sophomore Andrew Fallis, and freshman Noah Naugle. Juniors Max Bowman, sophomore Jonathan Jordan, and freshman Pedro Gallegos will compete as individuals.

Rischer currently leads the Bears with a scoring average of 73.56 over the first four tournaments this season. Swearingen follows closely with an average of 73.75, while Holmberg has posted an average score of 74.25.

In their previous competition at the Turtle Point Invitational in Killen, Alabama two weeks ago, Missouri State achieved its best finish of the fall season by placing seventh overall. Swearingen was the top performer for Coach Neal Stafford’s team with a 28th-place finish; Holmberg and Rischer both finished tied for 49th.
