Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar and Community Springs Healthcare Facility in El Dorado Springs have been recognized for their commitment to safety. Both facilities, operated by Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation, received the "Outstanding Achievement in Safety" awards for 2024 from Health Care Facilities of Missouri (HCFM).

The award acknowledges facilities and staff for their dedication to safety and successful implementation of safety programs. HCFM represents over 180 senior living facilities throughout Missouri, focusing on helping members manage high workers' compensation costs. According to hcfmtrust.com, the award recipients had loss ratios of 15.9% or less for 2024, based on the January 2025 loss ratio report. Two-thirds of HCFM Trust members met these criteria.

Tim Francka, administrative director of long-term care at CMH, expressed his congratulations: “Safety is a key part of the CMH vision and our core values,” he said. “Congratulations to CMHCF and Community Springs for receiving this award and helping our organization become the safest, highest quality and best experience for the communities we serve.”

CMH operates six long-term care facilities along with one residential care center across Cedar, Dallas, Greene, and Polk counties.
