Missouri State University's men's basketball team secured a decisive win against Northwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday, scoring 106-57 at the Great Southern Bank Arena. This total marks the 12th-highest point tally in the school's history.

The Bears improved to 2-0 for the season, shooting 41-for-68 from the field and converting 72 percent of their two-point attempts. Six players scored in double digits. Keith Palek III led with 20 points and eight assists, while Darrion Sutton recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Other players contributing double figures included Kobi Williams (12), Zaxton King (12), Amar Kuljuhovic (11), and Trey Williams Jr. (11). Every player who took to the court scored during the game.

The Bears' offense picked up after a slow start, hitting their first basket at the 16:30 mark in the first half. They then went on a strong run, highlighted by an eight-point burst from King within just over a minute, as well as consecutive scoring streaks from Palek and Sutton. By halftime, Missouri State led 55-21 following a late 16-0 run.

In addition to offensive production, Missouri State controlled rebounding with a margin of 52-25 and managed to collect 13 straight rebounds during one stretch. The team also hit ten three-pointers, with Trey Williams Jr. making three.

Kobi Williams contributed six assists; all ten players had at least one assist as part of a balanced effort on both ends of the court.

The Bears will remain at home for their next matchup against Arkansas State on Tuesday at 7 p.m., where tickets are available online. Veterans, active-duty military personnel, and first responders can receive complimentary admission along with discounted rates for their guests.
