Citizens Memorial Hospital and Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center have announced that Dr. Kurt Bravata has transitioned from his position at Dallas County Family Medical Center to assume roles as a family practice provider and medical director at Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center.
Dr. Bravata's responsibilities include offering comprehensive family care, such as treatment for chronic conditions, geriatric services, joint injections, wellness exams, immunizations, and addiction recovery support. Additionally, he retains his position as medical director of the CMH Addiction Recovery Program in Bolivar.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine in the subspecialty of Addiction Medicine, Dr. Bravata is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in family practice and general medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Bravata has been part of the CMH medical staff since August 2013.
