Colonial Springs Healthcare Center has announced the appointment of four new managers to its leadership team. Christy Kowiti will serve as the director of nursing, Amber Howe as the activities director, Paula Clemmons as the director of nutritional services, and Brandy Johnson as the director of environmental services.

Kowiti brings 24 years of nursing experience to her new role. She began her career as a certified nurse assistant before becoming a registered nurse. "I have worked every shift in all my nursing positions, but reached my full calling as a leader when I accepted my first director of nursing position," Kowiti stated.

Howe returns to Colonial Springs after previously working there for six years as an activities assistant. Her background includes experience in dietary and environmental services and she is also a licensed cosmetologist.

Clemmons enters her role with 26 years of dietary experience, while Johnson has been part of Colonial Springs since 2013 in environmental services. Johnson's responsibilities include overseeing a team that maintains cleanliness and comfort for residents.

Roy Pace, administrator at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, expressed his satisfaction with the new appointments: "I am very pleased to welcome all the new team members who have taken leadership roles here," he said. "They bring over 60 years of combined experience. I am proud to work with these dedicated individuals who share the same goal: to improve the lives of our residents every day. I look forward to a successful 2025 with these leaders guiding their departments."

Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a facility offering long-term care and skilled nursing services, including specialized units for memory care tailored for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
