The Citizens Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is set to hold its annual bake sale on Thursday, Nov. 20. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second floor of the Kerry and Synda Douglas Medical Center, located at 1155 W. Parkview St. in Bolivar.
Both hospital employees and members of the community are invited to attend and purchase homemade baked goods at the sale. Items for sale will include sweet breads, yeast breads, cakes, pies, coffee cakes, candy, and other treats.
Funds raised during the bake sale will go toward special projects supported by the CMH Auxiliary. These projects include assistance for the Tremain Family Hospitality House, Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center, Citizens Memorial Hospital itself, Douglas Medical Center, and CMH long-term care facilities.
