Rep. Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, posted several updates on his social media account in late October 2025, including commentary on federal spending and seasonal greetings.
On October 30, 2025, Burlison announced an event time in a brief post: "7pm CT https://t.co/712D3MzG3N".
The following day, he shared a holiday message with his followers. On October 31, 2025, he wrote: "Happy Halloween! https://t.co/368uzavCqT".
Later that same day, Burlison addressed legislative matters concerning the Continuing Resolution (CR) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). He stated: "If this CR were actually partisan, the waste and abuse in the SNAP program would be eliminated. But the truth is, this bill is so clean that it's an extension of the DEMOCRATS' OWN BUDGET. https://t.co/kdfjn6dljh".
Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since replacing Billy Long in 2023. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in both chambers of the Missouri legislature from 2009 to 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark at age 46, Burlison holds degrees from Missouri State University earned in both 2000 and 2002.
