Missouri State’s Kiser Pannier one stroke off lead at Lady Red Wolves Classic

Missouri State University's women's golf team is currently in sixth place after two rounds at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, held at Sage Meadows Golf Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Senior Kiser Pannier is one shot behind the individual leader after recording scores of 70 and 69, totaling five-under-par for the day. Pannier made 11 birdies across the two rounds, overcoming an early double bogey and finishing her morning round with three consecutive birdies.

The Bears started strong, ranking fourth out of 17 teams after an opening round of 290, but dropped to sixth following a second-round score of 291, bringing their total to 581. The University of Louisiana Monroe leads the team competition with a score of 559, followed by Little Rock at 571 and Memphis at 574. Morehead State and West Georgia are also ahead of Missouri State.

Other individual performances for Missouri State include junior Coyee Zhang, who is tied for 33rd with rounds of 71 and 76 for a total of 147. Freshman Chloe Bolte posted two rounds of 74 for a total of 148, while junior Tierney Baumstark finished with scores of 78 and even-par 72, placing her in a tie for 53rd at 150. Junior Kyleigh Pfitzner is tied for 61st after rounds of 75 and 76.

Among those competing as individuals, sophomore Siena Minor shot rounds of 79 and 70 for a total of 149. Marlee Edgeman scored a combined total of 151, while freshman Katelyn Wilkie finished the day with a total score of 158.

The final round is set to begin Tuesday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
