U.S. Congressman Eric Burlison, who represents Missouri’s 7th district, shared several posts on his official X account on September 26, 2025. The tweets included commentary on political discourse, expressions of patriotism, and praise for local manufacturing in Joplin.

In a post published at 17:25 UTC, Burlison criticized the political strategies of his opponents, stating: "The Left’s political playbook these days looks like a toddler’s coloring book. Crayons everywhere, nothing in the lines."

Shortly after, at 17:49 UTC, he posted a brief patriotic message: "GO U.S.A."

Later that evening at 20:59 UTC, Burlison highlighted his visit to Joplin’s manufacturing facilities with a tweet emphasizing the city's contributions to national defense and space exploration: "Joplin is leading the way in American manufacturing. Today I toured facilities that help power submarines, launch missiles, and even put Americans in space. Without the innovation happening right here in Joplin, our nation wouldn’t be exploring and advancing like it is."

Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th district since 2023 after succeeding Billy Long. He previously served in both chambers of Missouri's state legislature between 2009 and 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and now residing in Ozark, Burlison holds two degrees from Missouri State University.
