Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, posted a series of tweets on September 23, 2025, addressing topics related to public health, free speech, and political discourse.

In his first post at 12:43 UTC, Burlison wrote, "A weak, sick, dependent population is easier to rule. The time for truth is now."

At 13:02 UTC the same day, he referenced former President Donald Trump's proposed policy initiative by stating, "President Trump’s Autism Action Plan is the blueprint for transparency and open dialogue that has been missing from America’s health system for decades. It’s time to Make America Healthy Again. @RapidResponse47"

Later at 14:02 UTC, Burlison commented on social media censorship and free speech issues under the Biden administration with another tweet: "The left unanimously celebrated deplatforming anyone that deviated from the liberal orthodoxy under the Biden administration. If not for Republicans, this assault on civil rights would only continue. Incredible win for free speech."

Eric Burlison has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Billy Long as representative of Missouri's 7th district (source: https://www.house.gov/representatives). Prior to his tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, he served in both chambers of Missouri's legislature—first in the House from 2009 to 2017 and then in the Senate from 2019 to 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark at age 46, Burlison graduated twice from Missouri State University (in 2000 and again in 2002).
