Missouri State University's women's soccer team will play Jacksonville State on September 25 at the Jax State Soccer Complex in Jacksonville, Alabama. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. and marks the first time these two programs have faced each other.

Missouri State enters the game with a 3-5-2 overall record and a 0-0-1 mark in Conference USA play. All three of the team's wins this season have come on the road, with victories over SIUE, Southeast Missouri, and Central Arkansas.

The Bears recently secured their first-ever Conference USA point after drawing 0-0 against Liberty. With that result, Missouri State extended its conference unbeaten streak to 21 matches. The last time they lost a conference game was on October 23, 2022, against Illinois State.

Goalkeeper Ella Becker received recognition as CUSA Goalkeeper of the Week on September 23. She is the first player from Missouri State's women's soccer program to earn a weekly honor from Conference USA. Becker has started all ten matches this season, accumulating 805 minutes in goal, making 40 saves with a .727 save percentage and three shutouts.

Abby Hansen leads Missouri State with ten points, having scored three goals and provided four assists. She has also converted her only penalty kick attempt this season. Reilly Heman follows with six points from two goals and two assists while leading the team in shots taken with 22 attempts.

Julia Kristensen is third on the team in points with five (two goals and one assist) and leads in shots with 23. Kristensen holds the program's single-season assist record—13 set in 2024—and ranks third all-time at Missouri State with nineteen career assists.

Brooke Cattoor has scored twice this season and remains perfect from the penalty spot. Rowann Law, Emma Shields, and Maggie O'Keefe have each contributed one goal.

Missouri State averages 1.2 goals per game while limiting opponents to a .136 shot percentage.
