Rep. Eric Burlison, who represents Missouri’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of national issues in a series of posts on September 19, 2025.

In his first post, Burlison called for federal intervention to address crime in St. Louis, stating on September 19: "I have advocated for President Trump to take action to help clean up St. Louis. Violent crime must be addressed across our country, and local city leaders have failed to protect their communities."

Later that day, he commented on government-run aid programs and political spending priorities: "Whenever someone claims the government runs charity better than the private sector, remember USAID. Remember, radical activists are using your money to fund their agendas. Remember, Democrats are salivating at the chance to expand that failure."

In a third post marking National POW/MIA Recognition Day, Burlison wrote: "Today, we honor the brave men and women who have made incredible sacrifices for our nation. On National POW/MIA Recognition Day, let us remember and salute their unwavering courage and commitment."

Burlison has served as U.S. Representative since 2023 after replacing Billy Long and previously held positions in both chambers of Missouri's legislature from 2009 through early 2023. He was born in Springfield in 1976 and resides in Ozark; he holds two degrees from Missouri State University earned between 2000 and 2002.
