Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, recently shared a series of posts on his official X account addressing education, political discourse, and fiscal policy.
On September 18, 2025, Burlison highlighted local workforce development efforts: "Table Rock Career Center is equipping students with the skills to thrive in today’s workforce. Grateful for leaders like @codyhirschi making it happen."
Later that day, he commented on the state of political debate: "The left remains in a state of rhetorical chaos and the consequences are terrifyingly real."
On September 19, 2025, Burlison addressed government spending priorities: "If the choice is between a short-term CR that holds the line or a trillion-dollar omnibus stuffed with pork, I’ll side with the option that protects taxpayers every time."
Burlison has served as Missouri’s 7th District representative since succeeding Billy Long in 2023. Before joining Congress, he served in both chambers of the Missouri legislature—first in the House from 2009 to 2017 and then in the Senate from 2019 to 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark, Burlison graduated from Missouri State University with both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
