U.S. Representative Eric Burlison, who represents Missouri’s 7th district in Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account reflecting on the anniversary of September 11 and paying tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

On September 11, 2025, Burlison wrote, "Twenty-four years later, the memory of September 11th remains vivid. We remember the innocent lives lost, the heroes who gave everything to save others, and the unity that carried our nation through the darkness. We will never forget."

Later that day, he commented on Charlie Kirk's influence among young conservatives: "Charlie Kirk was a trailblazer. He changed how young people engage with the conservative movement, inspiring students to find their voice and take action. A member of my staff even started a chapter at her Missouri high school because of his influence—and it profoundly shaped"

The previous evening, Burlison posted a separate link without additional commentary: https://t.co/Lb8kEYbbwy (September 10, 2025).

Burlison has served as U.S. Representative for Missouri’s 7th district since replacing Billy Long in 2023. Prior to his current role in Congress, he served in both chambers of the Missouri legislature between 2009 and 2023. Born in Springfield and now residing in Ozark, Burlison graduated from Missouri State University with degrees earned in both 2000 and 2002.
