Rep. Eric Burlison, who represents Missouri’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media account this week to highlight developments regarding federal secrets declassification and government spending, as well as to share a newly publicized video related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
On September 8, 2025, Burlison announced an upcoming hearing: "Tuesday, the @GOPoversight Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets will be joined by expert witnesses for a must-watch hearing on UAP disclosure. Don't miss it https://t.co/5pNOspxovd"
The following day, he criticized Democratic lawmakers’ approach to fiscal policy: "Democrats don’t see your tax dollars as your money. They see it as their slush fund. https://t.co/3BgyoGxLtc" (September 9, 2025).

Eric Burlison has served in Congress since replacing Billy Long in 2023 and previously held seats in both chambers of Missouri's state legislature from 2009 through early 2023. He was born in Springfield and resides in Ozark.
He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Missouri State University.
