Chloe Bolte set a new school record for Missouri State University Lady Bears Golf during the team's season-opening tournament at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri. The freshman from Sumner, Iowa, recorded a 54-hole score of 210 and finished second overall at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial.

Bolte posted even-par rounds of 71 on Monday before shooting a three-under 68 in the final round. This performance led to a playoff with Nami Luesattha of Odessa, who won on the first extra hole.

Missouri State claimed a decisive victory in the team competition, finishing with scores of 287-288-291 for an overall total of 866—just one stroke shy of their school record for a 54-hole event. Wichita State placed second with a total score of 881. Odessa finished third at 884, Memphis took fourth at 885, and Omaha completed the top five with an 892 in an eleven-team field.

Senior Kiser Pannier also had her best collegiate showing, finishing third after posting rounds of 69-68-75 for a one-under-par total of 212. Junior Coyee Zhang tied for sixteenth place with rounds totaling 224. Junior Kyleigh Pfitzner tied for twenty-second at 227, while junior Tierney Baumstark finished thirty-seventh with a score of 233.

The Lady Bears will be off next week before competing again September 22–23 at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Missouri.
