The Missouri State Bears men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against the Central Arkansas Bears on Sunday night in Springfield. The match saw strong offensive efforts from Missouri State, who registered seven shots in the first half compared to none by Central Arkansas. In the second half, Missouri State continued to press, taking ten shots while Central Arkansas managed four.

Missouri State finished with five shots on goal, with senior Adrián Esteban contributing three and fellow senior Daniele Verdirosi adding two. Goalkeeper Will Lowry played all 90 minutes and made two key saves to preserve the tie.

The game was marked by physical play, with Missouri State earning ten corner kicks to Central Arkansas's one. Central Arkansas received thirteen fouls and two yellow cards, while Missouri State was called for eight fouls.

Coach Michael Seabolt expressed satisfaction with his team's performance and anticipation for their upcoming schedule. "Tonight was a great performance for the guys, I am very happy with their effort. We created a ton of chances, but that's just our sport. We start the American Conference on Friday and this team's going to be ready. They're super excited for the launch of the new league in front of our home fans!"

Missouri State will next face Temple at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium on Friday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m., marking their first American Conference match at home. Admission to all home games is free throughout the season.
