Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district since 2023, recently shared updates on legislative initiatives and local investments via his official social media account.

On September 4, 2025, Burlison highlighted a program supporting agricultural and rural interests in Southwest Missouri. He stated, "The OBBB invests in Southwest Missouri’s farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. It protects family farms, strengthens rural healthcare, expands crop insurance, and secures our food and supply chains."

Later that day, he promoted an episode of his podcast by writing, "On Episode 51 of Fresh Freedom, Brittany Madni from @EPICforAmerica joins us as we dig into the National Guard cleaning up DC, the shutdown fearmongering gripping Washington, and Trump’s historic pocket rescissions."

On September 5, 2025, Burlison announced new legislation with the post: " I’ve introduced the Train Crew Choice Act to take down yet another ridiculous Biden-Harris mandate."

Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since succeeding Billy Long in 2023. Before his current role in Congress, he served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017 and in the Missouri Senate from 2019 to 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark at age 46, Burlison holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Missouri State University.
