Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, posted a series of statements on his social media account on August 5, 2025, addressing issues related to children's health and government transparency.

In one tweet, Burlison emphasized the importance of reinstating a particular program: "Reviving this iconic program is a serious step toward protecting the health of our children and the strength of our country." (August 5, 2025).

Later that day, he reaffirmed his commitment to openness in government affairs. He stated: "I have a responsibility to my constituents to fight for transparency. I’ve always been skeptical, but I’m committed to uncovering what the government might be hiding." (August 5, 2025).
