Missouri State's swimming and diving teams have finalized their schedule for the 2025-26 season, as announced by head coach Dave Collins. The Bears will compete in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) this year, aiming to continue their success.

The team will host four home meets at the Hammons Student Center Pool. The first is a two-day dual against Southern Illinois on October 3-4. "We look forward to continuing our goal of creating a fun and high-energy atmosphere at our home meets," said Collins. He noted that adding a DJ has enhanced the experience for athletes and fans.

The second home event is scheduled for October 17-18, with men competing against Ouachita Baptist and women facing Indiana State. A meet against Drury on January 17 marks their final home competition.

Road competitions include meets at Omaha from October 31-November 1, the House of Champions Invitational in Indianapolis from November 20-22, Drury on January 16, and UIC from January 30-31. The MVC Championships are set for February 25-28 in Evansville, Indiana.

"This year's MVC Championships will have a new look as we combine the men's and women's meets into one big meet in Evansville," added Collins. He expects this change to increase excitement and energy.

Historically, Missouri State has been successful in the MVC meet. The women's team has won 21 out of the last 24 titles, while the men's team secured five championships, most recently in 2003. Men's swimming was not part of the league from 2004 to 2024 but returned last season.
