The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced that Missouri State University's beach volleyball program has received the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award. This award, sponsored by INTENT, is given to teams maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher over the academic year.

Alongside this accolade, the Bears have been included in the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll. This honor roll is reserved for teams within the top 20% of team GPAs across all programs in their division.

Missouri State achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.76 for the 2024–25 academic year, with a GPA of 3.78 in the fall and 3.74 in the spring. Every student-athlete on the roster maintained at least a 3.00 GPA each semester, with a total of 39 semesters at or above this mark, including 33 semesters at or above a 3.50 and nine perfect semesters with a GPA of 4.00.
