Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri's 7th district since 2023, has recently shared his views on several national issues through a series of tweets. Burlison, who succeeded Billy Long in Congress and previously served in the Missouri House of Representatives and Senate, is known for his outspoken stance on various policies.

On July 8, 2025, Burlison expressed criticism towards the federal government's approach to safety regulations. He stated that "For decades, the federal government has been weaponizing 'safety' to chip away at freedom." He further commended former President Trump for discarding what he considers an unreasonable policy.

Later that day, Burlison voiced opposition to environmental initiatives by referring to them as a "scam." His tweet read: "End the Green New Scam ", indicating his disapproval of such measures.

In another post on July 8, 2025, Burlison addressed public concerns regarding Jeffrey Epstein's criminal activities. He emphasized the need for transparency with his statement: "The American people will not forget about Epstein’s crimes. They want transparency, not wool pulled over their eyes."

Eric Burlison was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently resides in Ozark. He holds two degrees from Missouri State University and has been active in politics since serving in the Missouri House of Representatives starting in 2009.
