Kurt Bravata assumes new roles at Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center

Citizens Memorial Hospital and Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center have announced that Dr. Kurt Bravata has transitioned from the Dallas County Family Medical Center to assume a new role at Pleasant Hope Family Medical Center. Dr. Bravata will serve as both a family practice provider and medical director.

In his position, Dr. Bravata will provide comprehensive family care services. These include treatment for chronic conditions, geriatric services, joint injections, wellness exams, immunizations, and support for addiction recovery. He will also continue his work with patients as the medical director of the CMH Addiction Recovery Program in Bolivar.

Dr. Bravata holds board certifications from the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Addiction Medicine. Additionally, he is recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

He obtained his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in family practice and general medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Bravata has been part of the CMH medical staff since August 2013.
