CMH adds experienced psychologist Thomas Blansett to medical team

Citizens Memorial Hospital has announced the addition of Thomas Blansett, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist, to its medical staff. Dr. Blansett is now available for patient consultations at the Humansville Family Medical Center.

Dr. Blansett holds a Bachelor of Science in correctional administration from Missouri State University in Springfield and both a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California.

With over 31 years of experience in mental health care, Dr. Blansett spent the last 22 years managing a private practice in Springfield. His professional background includes serving as a staff clinical psychologist at Ozarks Community Hospital’s Behavioral Health Department and teaching as an adjunct professor at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology.

At his new position with Humansville Family Medical Center, Dr. Blansett offers psychological evaluations and therapy services for adults aged 18 and older. His expertise encompasses individual psychotherapy, family and group therapy, as well as treatments for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), major depressive disorder (MDD), anxiety, among other mental health conditions.
