The City of Springfield has announced plans to host a Public Information Session for the Historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge Rehabilitation Project. The session, scheduled for 5-6 p.m., Thursday, May 16 at Victory Mission (1745 N. Boonville Ave.), comes in the wake of a recent bid process for the project.

The information session aims to provide Commercial Street stakeholders and interested members of the public an opportunity to review rehabilitation options and discuss next steps. For those unable to attend, a video recording will be made available following the meeting on the City’s project webpage at springfieldmo.gov/footbridge.

In addition, the Springfield City Council is expected to hear an update on the rehabilitation project during an upcoming regular Public Works overview Council Lunch presentation scheduled at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21.
