Butterfield Residential Care Center, Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, and Parkview Health Care Facility in Bolivar will open their doors to trick-or-treaters on Friday, Oct. 31, starting at 5:30 p.m. The event invites families to visit all three senior living facilities for Halloween activities.
Children who participate can enter a drawing for an Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Pro Tablet by visiting each facility and completing a Halloween Passport. After collecting stamps from all three locations, participants can submit their passports for the prize drawing.
The facilities are located at different addresses in Bolivar: Butterfield Residential Care Center at 1120 N. Butterfield Road, Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility at 1218 W. Locust St., and Parkview Health Care Facility at 119 W. Forest St. All three are owned and operated by the Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation.
According to the organizers, "Residents look forward to passing out candy to children each year, so families are encouraged to start their evening at one of the residential or long-term care facilities in Bolivar."
Families interested in more information can follow any of the facility Facebook pages or contact Maycee Venable, activity director for Parkview Health Care Facility, at 417-326-3000.
