Rep. Eric Burlison, who represents Missouri’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on October 8, 2025, expressing concerns about societal values, ongoing political disputes, and healthcare costs.

In a post at 17:32 UTC, Burlison wrote, "The lack of regard for human life epitomizes cultural rot. Violence across U.S. cities. Pro-abortion laws. A society that devalues life devalues everything."

Later that day, at 18:35 UTC, he commented on the status of government funding negotiations, stating, "Schumer Shutdown Continues."

Addressing healthcare policy at 20:02 UTC, Burlison posted, "After Biden's subsidies expire, taxpayers will still be covering 80% of premium costs for the typical enrollee. Premiums aren't going up because of Republicans; it's because Democrats used taxpayer money to hide how bad Obamacare really is."

Burlison, who succeeded Billy Long in Congress in 2023, has a legislative background that includes service in both the Missouri House of Representatives and the Missouri Senate. He was born in Springfield, Missouri, in 1976 and resides in Ozark. Burlison is an alumnus of Missouri State University, where he earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
