The Citizens Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold a Book & Gift Fair on October 14 and 15 at the Kerry & Synda Douglas Medical Center, located at 1155 W. Parkview St. in Bolivar. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15.

Funds raised during the fair will go toward special projects at Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) through the auxiliary’s support efforts. Attendees can pay using cash, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or CMH employee payroll deductions.

The CMH Auxiliary consists of about 300 volunteers who collectively contribute over 28,000 hours each year to support hospital operations and fundraising activities. Over the past year, the auxiliary has donated more than $89,000 to CMH for purchases aimed at improving patient care.
