Rep. Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, has recently used his social media platform to criticize federal healthcare policy and Democratic approaches to law enforcement. In a series of posts published on October 6 and 7, 2025, Burlison voiced concerns about the Biden administration’s handling of healthcare subsidies and the broader implications of Democratic policies.

On October 6, Burlison wrote, "Biden's Covid subsidies layer more dysfunction on an already broken Obamacare system that limits consumer choice and puts patients last." Later that day, he continued his critique of the Affordable Care Act, stating, "If Obamacare actually worked, Dems wouldn’t have to make it virtually free to keep people enrolled and force taxpayers to swallow the bill. It’s time for a real, free-market alternative that puts patients first."

On October 7, Burlison shifted his focus to law enforcement policies, posting, "Democrats have fully embraced police state tactics. Without real consequences, these abuses will only escalate."

Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since 2023, succeeding Billy Long. He previously served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017 and in the Missouri Senate from 2019 to 2023. Born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976, Burlison currently resides in Ozark and is an alumnus of Missouri State University.
