Rep. Eric Burlison, who represents Missouri’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to address issues related to energy innovation and healthcare policy, including pointed criticism of Democratic Party positions.

Later that day, he criticized Democratic lawmakers’ approach to healthcare for undocumented immigrants: "Democrats will do whatever it takes to avoid accountability for their radical agenda. The truth is simple: They will always support healthcare for illegal aliens. They are America Last. https://t.co/ZIpoIkYG0S" (October 2, 2025).
Continuing on the same theme the following day, Burlison posted: "If Democrats don't want to be seen as the party of free healthcare for illegal aliens, they should really stop handing out free healthcare for illegal aliens. https://t.co/2TvH6TgLyA" (October 3, 2025).
Burlison has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Billy Long and previously held seats in both the Missouri House of Representatives (2009-2017) and Missouri Senate (2019-2023). He was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and resides in Ozark. Burlison holds two degrees from Missouri State University, completing his undergraduate studies in 2000 and further education there in 2002.
