Missouri State University has announced the addition of a home football game against Lindenwood University to its 2026 non-conference schedule. The game is set for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Plaster Stadium in Springfield.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams. Missouri State won their previous matchup last season with a score of 28-14 at Plaster Stadium. Lindenwood is the newest Division I football program in Missouri and currently competes in the FCS as part of the OVC-Big South Conference.
Other non-conference games on Missouri State’s 2026 schedule include an away game at Texas A&M on September 5, a home game against Marshall on September 19, and an away contest at SMU on September 26. The Conference USA schedule for that season has not yet been released.
