Rep. Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, recently posted a series of statements on social media emphasizing the importance of government transparency and public accountability, particularly regarding intelligence agencies.

On August 13, 2025, Burlison wrote: "Republicans and Democrats must stand united in the belief that accountability, transparency, and the public’s right to know transcend partisanship—especially when it comes to the actions of our intelligence agencies.

Later that day, he added: "JFK, Epstein, UAPs

Americans are tired of a government that thinks it knows better than the people it serves.

Do we own our government—or does it own us? https://t.co/qHNL1qZHKB"

The initial post was accompanied by a link to an opinion piece published in The Daily Signal. In his posts, Burlison referenced high-profile topics such as John F. Kennedy (JFK), Jeffrey Epstein, and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), framing them within broader concerns about governmental secrecy and responsiveness to citizens.

Eric Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Billy Long. He previously served in both chambers of Missouri's state legislature between 2009 and 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark, Burlison holds two degrees from Missouri State University earned in 2000 and 2002.
