Rep. Eric Burlison, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, shared several statements on his social media account on August 4, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political accusations to birthday wishes for the U.S. Coast Guard.

In a post made at 14:40 UTC, Burlison commented on recent partisan disputes over congressional districting: "The same party that has flooded Republican congressional districts with illegals for years is now accusing us of gerrymandering. Get real."

Later that day, at 16:04 UTC, he acknowledged the anniversary of a federal agency by stating: "Happy Birthday, @USCG "

Shortly after, at 16:09 UTC, Burlison reflected on national political controversies involving intelligence officials and the Trump administration: "The Russia collusion hoax felt like a plot from House of Cards. But it was real. Intel officials abused their power to undermine President Trump and none of them have been held accountable."

Burlison has represented Missouri’s 7th District in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Billy Long and previously served in both chambers of the Missouri legislature. He was born in Springfield in 1976 and resides in Ozark. Burlison is an alumnus of Missouri State University, where he completed his undergraduate studies in 2000 and continued graduate coursework through 2002.
