Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility (CMHCF) is set to host its 32nd annual Dog Days of Summer Festival on Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at CMHCF's location at 1218 W. Locust St. in Bolivar.

The festival promises a family-friendly atmosphere with entertainment, refreshments, food trucks, crafts, a cake walk and bake sale, and basket drawings. Proceeds from the event will support the resident special projects fund for CMHCF residents, while funds raised from the TV drawing will benefit the CMHCF employee special projects fund.

CMHCF is currently seeking vendors for the festival. Those interested in vending or requesting booth space can contact Tina Obert, CMHCF office manager, or Ashlee Wood, CMHCF activities director, at 417-326-7648.

CMHCF operates as a 111-bed long-term care facility under the ownership of Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation.
