Rep. Eric Burlison, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 7th district, posted a series of tweets on July 22 and 23, 2025, addressing topics ranging from the Russian collusion investigation to policy priorities under former President Trump.
On July 22, Burlison commented on the aftermath of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, stating: "The Russian Collusion Hoax was nothing short of a coup against President Trump and a perfect example of how far the Democrats have fallen. It's the reason former Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard are now committed to exposing the truth."
The following day, Burlison highlighted several policy issues in another tweet: "The largest tax cut, border security, ending Green New Scam subsidies, work requirements, and more. My latest video breaks down the good, the bad, and the road ahead to keep delivering on President Trump’s America First agenda." Later that day he posted links without additional commentary: "https://t.co/Pgn9Dls76l https://t.co/dI6xuGnGp2".
Burlison has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Billy Long as representative for Missouri’s 7th district. Prior to his current role in Congress, he served in both chambers of Missouri's state legislature between 2009 and 2023. Born in Springfield in 1976 and currently residing in Ozark at age 46, Burlison holds degrees from Missouri State University.
