Rep. Eric Burlison, who has represented Missouri’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared a series of posts addressing education policy and congressional activities. In another post on July 15, 2025, Burlison criticized the Department of Education’s performance over recent decades. He wrote: "The Department of Education has FAILED America’s kids. Per @lindseymburke at @Heritage, since the 1950s, school personnel per student has ballooned by 381%. Non-teaching staff have exploded by 709%. Billions wasted on bureaucrats who have done nothing to improve education."

Later that day, he commented on an event organized by the Republican Study Committee, stating: "Great media event today, @RepublicanStudy".

Eric Burlison was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently resides in Ozark. He holds two degrees from Missouri State University and began his legislative career in the Missouri House of Representatives before serving in the state Senate.
