Citizens Memorial Hospital will host an open house for the newly renamed CMH Senior Fitness Center on July 24. The event will take place from 9-11 a.m. at 1840 W. Broadway St., Bolivar.

The center, previously known as the CMH Senior Health Center, now offers free fitness memberships to adults aged 55 and older within the hospital's service area. It provides cardio and strength training equipment, group fitness classes, and a supportive environment for seniors.

“Our name may be new, but our commitment remains the same,” said Jody Pool, CMH Senior Fitness Center coordinator. “We’re here to promote healthy aging by providing a space where older adults can improve their strength, mobility and social well-being.”

The public is invited to attend the open house to tour the facility and speak with staff who will be available to answer questions and enroll new members.

For further details about the CMH Senior Fitness Center, individuals can call 417-777-7171 or visit cmhbolivar.info/49dzXwt.
