Representative Eric Burlison, who has served Missouri’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently addressed several national issues through a series of posts on social media. Burlison, a Republican from Ozark with previous experience in both chambers of the Missouri legislature, commented on matters ranging from presidential transparency to child exploitation and government secrecy.
On July 11, 2025, Burlison criticized the current administration’s handling of President Biden’s health information. He stated: "The Biden administration’s Soviet-style cover-up of Biden's health is a disgrace, and a betrayal of the public’s trust. The American people are entitled to the truth under each and every administration."
Later that day, Burlison commented on allegations involving child exploitation and illegal drug operations. In his post dated July 11, 2025, he wrote: "I can assure you that exploiting illegal alien children to grow weed is not a winning issue."
In another statement made on July 11, 2025, Burlison referenced comments by Chris Piehota regarding the potential withholding of files related to Jeffrey Epstein. He posted: "Chris Piehota suggested the Epstein files might stay hidden if they serve as leverage against foreign powers. Translation: your right to know takes a backseat to backroom deals."
Eric Burlison was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1976 and currently resides in Ozark. He earned his undergraduate degree from Missouri State University in 2000 and completed further studies there in 2002.
