Citizens Memorial Hospital has announced the addition of Kaleigh Beyersdoerfer as a physical therapist at the Greenfield Rehabilitation Clinic. Beyersdoerfer, who was previously known as Kaleigh Cooper, is familiar to many in the community.

A native of Greenfield, Beyersdoerfer graduated from Greenfield High School in 2015. She pursued higher education at Southwest Baptist University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in biology and a doctorate in physical therapy.

“I’ve always been interested in working in some type of health care because I could see it as an excellent way to serve others,” Beyersdoerfer explained. Her decision to specialize in physical therapy was driven by her desire to engage with patients during their recovery process. “It’s very rewarding to see patients reach their goals and get back to doing the things they want to do,” she added.

After completing her studies at SBU in 2022, Beyersdoerfer relocated to Ohio but found herself longing for the small-town atmosphere of southwest Missouri. The job opportunity at Greenfield arose this fall, which she saw as a chance to return home. “I feel like it was meant to be for me to come back to work in my hometown,” she said. “It’s an honor to be able to give back to this community and serve the people of the town that raised me.”
