Rep. Eric Burlison, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 7th district, has recently shared his views on social media concerning various national issues. These comments reflect his positions on ongoing riots, national debt, and law enforcement operations in Los Angeles.

On June 10, 2025, Burlison questioned the nature of recent riots through a tweet at 2:52 PM UTC. He stated, "Does anyone believe these riots are a 'grassroots' operation? Every one of these radical groups should be investigated. Let's see where the money is coming from."

Later that day at 4:25 PM UTC, Burlison expressed concerns over the growing national debt with another post: "12 trillion dollars has been added to the national debt since 2020—an amount equal to the debt accumulated under two centuries of American presidents. At this rate, interest on the debt alone threatens to consume a quarter of the federal budget."

In an evening tweet at 6:57 PM UTC, he addressed law enforcement actions in Los Angeles, noting their objectives and outcomes: "ICE went into L.A. with a purpose: To stop money laundering. To crack down on tax evasion. To cut off millions flowing to terrorist cartels. To arrest rapists, sexual predators, murderers, and domestic abusers." He concluded by challenging those defending the riots.

Eric Burlison has represented Missouri's 7th District since replacing Billy Long in 2023. His political career includes serving in both chambers of Missouri's state legislature before his current congressional role.
