On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Republic High School standout Jared Hughes’ current college team, the LIU Sharks, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTSA Roadrunners.

The game took place at Roadrunner Field. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2:35 p.m. at Roadrunner Field against UTSA Roadrunners.
