On Friday, Feb. 14, former Nixa High School standout Jaret Nelson’s current college team, the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fairfield Stags.

The game took place at Swanson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Stags this season.

The Coast Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Swanson Stadium against Fairfield Stags.
