Springfield Mayor Ken McClure has shared a holiday message reflecting on the city's progress throughout 2024 and expressing hopes for the coming year. In a video, he highlights achievements, gratitude, and a vision for Springfield's future.

Mayor McClure thanked residents for their contributions to the community's vitality. "I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for each of you who make our city such a special place to live, work, and grow," he stated.

The Mayor noted several accomplishments, including economic growth, public safety improvements, and environmental projects like the Clean Green Springfield campaign, Lake Springfield Plan, and Renew Jordan Creek development. He emphasized these initiatives as examples of collaboration and dedication.

"Together, we’ve laid the groundwork for even brighter days ahead," said McClure. The message was accompanied by visuals of community events and city improvements.

He encouraged residents to continue building on this momentum by fostering connections and serving others during the holiday season. "Let’s make 2025 our best year yet!" he added.
