72.7% of Webster County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 38,978 citizens living in Webster County in 2021, 72.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 28,338 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 14,427 were male, constituting 50.9%, and 13,911 were female, making up 49.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Webster County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
