Congressman Eric Burlison issued a statement on the Fiscal Responsibility Act. Congressman Burlison voted against the Fiscal Responsibility Act.

“Our national debt is approaching catastrophic levels and the Fiscal Responsibility Act does little to put us back on track,” said Congressman Burlison. “This business-as-usual deal adds at least $4 trillion to the national debt and extends the debt ceiling until 2025. This is completely unacceptable. Southwest Missouri sent me to Congress to end Washington’s spending addiction and fight the swamp, not enable it. That’s why I voted to oppose the bill.”
