Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors member Warren Erdman was appointed this week to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. Erdman’s appointment was approved by the Missouri Senate.
Erdman, who is from Kansas City, was picked by Gov. Mike Parson to be a member of the commission in August.
Erdman currently serves as executive vice president of administration and corporate affairs for Kansas City Southern Railway. Prior to joining KCS in 1997, he served as chief of staff to U.S. Senator Kit Bond.
Erdman serves on the Downtown Council of Kansas City and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Foundation board. Erdman was recognized in 2022 as one of the Top 10 Most Influential People in the railroad industry by Railway Age magazine.
